Meet Chef Charles
We are pleased to introduce our award-winning chef.
After graduating as Valedictorian from Johnson and Wales University in Providence RI, our Chef Charles quickly began to polish his fine dining skills working alongside some of the finest culinary talent including a stage with world renowned Certified Master Chef Soren Gerhard Arnoldi. Subsequent accomplishments include being appointed Specialty Chef for the Marriott Corporation at the luxurious Boston Copley Place. Charles continued to expand his horizons by opening several of his own restaurants in Florida, where he played an instrumental role in the design of the conceptual atmosphere and points of service. From here, Charles had the opportunity to further develop his culinary career as: Executive Chef for a The Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort and Spa; Owner, GM and Executive Chef at Blue Water Grill; Executive Chef at the iconic Hemingway’s restaurant at the Bay Bridge Marina and Yacht Club in Annapolis, MD; and then, The Epicurean hotel, affiliated with iconic Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa. There, Charles became a certified Sommelier and won the prestigious Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. He also was a founding Board of Director member of the Tampa Bay Wine Alliance, a philanthropic foundation dedicated to the education and steps of service of wine.
